Fine art photographer Ahron D. Weiner traveled to Uman for Rosh Hashanah last year and created a magnificent (and edgy) photo documentary of the wide range of people who make the yearly pilgrimage -- fervently praying, joyously dancing, eating pizza, studying Torah, strumming the guitar, screaming, sleeping on benches, and meditating on rooftops and in the fields.The photos appear as a seven page series on his website here.
