Rav Elazar Mordechai Kenig was given the honor of being Sandek at the recent bris of Eliezer Dovid Hecht, son of Rabbi Mendy and Hindy Hecht of Monsey. Mrs. Hecht is a daughter of Rabbi Eliezer Dovid Zeitlin, zal, one of Rav Kenig's closest talmidim and his personal attendant whenever the Rav came to America.
This is Reb Dovid's second grandson to be given his name. May he grow up to be a source of nachas and simcha for his entire family, and may they have only nachas and simcha from all of their children. And may Reb Dovid zal be a "meilitz yosher" for them and for all of Klal Yisrael, amen.
